Day 1: Arrival at KIA and Transfer to Arusha
Upon your arrival at KIA, our representative will meet and greet you before transferring you to your hotel in Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, you may have the opportunity to do some light birding around the hotel's gardens, where you can spot common species such as the Superb Starling, Red-eyed Dove, and the Ring-necked Dove. In the evening, you will meet your guide and go through the itinerary for your 11-day Tanzania birding safari.
Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After an early breakfast, you will depart for Tarangire National Park, a hidden gem that boasts an impressive variety of birdlife, with over 500 species recorded. The park is home to several endemic species, including the Ashy Starling, Rufous-tailed Weaver, and Yellow-collared Lovebird.
