Kasongoyeye Safaris Travel DMC - Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Kasongoyeye Safaris Travel DMC. By booking a safari with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions, which define the responsibilities and obligations between you (the client) and Kasongoyeye Safaris ("we", "us"). These conditions ensure transparency and trust and are designed to provide a seamless safari experience.
Each client receives a customized safari itinerary. While we aim to deliver all outlined services, changes may be made due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather, road closures, or safety concerns. Any changes will be communicated and alternative options provided of similar quality.
Traveling in Tanzania and East Africa involves adapting to local conditions. Unexpected changes to government park fees and taxes may occur. Kasongoyeye Safaris reserves the right to adjust final prices accordingly.
A 45% deposit confirms your booking. Full payment is required at least 65 days before the safari start date. Airline tickets must be paid 100% upfront. Bookings made within 65 days must be paid in full.
We accept bank wire transfers. All banking charges must be borne by the client.
65+ days before departure: Deposit non-refundable
50-65 days before departure: 50% charge
0-50 days before departure: 100% charge
Amendment to the itinerary after confirmation is subject to a fee of $150.
Prices are quoted in USD per person (based on two people). Pricing excludes visa costs, tips, insurance, personal expenses, and optional excursions. Prices are subject to change due to park fee adjustments or errors. Quotes are valid for two weeks.
All travel documents (vouchers, e-tickets, etc.) are sent two weeks prior to departure.
It is mandatory for clients to hold travel and medical insurance covering accidents, evacuation, loss, or damage. Proof of insurance may be requested.
Guests are responsible for valid travel documents. Most nationalities can obtain a visa on arrival or in advance. US citizens pay $100, others $50. Passports must be valid for 6 months beyond travel dates.
Bookings are confirmed after receiving the deposit. Late payment may result in cancellation. The lead traveler is responsible for all correspondence and payments for the group.
Post-confirmation changes incur a $75 fee per person ($100 for US). Changes within 12 weeks are treated as cancellations.
We reserve the right to cancel or amend any safari due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, alternative arrangements or refunds will be offered. Compensation is limited to $75 per person.
We are not liable for disruptions caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, war, terrorism, or civil unrest.
We take responsibility for providing services as per your confirmed itinerary. We are not responsible for additional services provided by third parties or issues beyond our control. Our liability is limited to 200% of the total trip cost, except in cases involving injury or death.
We are not responsible for third-party excursions not booked through Kasongoyeye Safaris. Any assistance in booking such activities is as a courtesy only.
We are not liable for airline or sea carrier decisions or delays. Responsibility lies with the respective transport provider.
This agreement is governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Any disputes shall be handled by the courts in Dar es Salaam.
If you encounter a problem, report it immediately to your guide or lodge manager. If unresolved, write to us within 28 days of returning. Failure to do so may void your claim.
If referred by a third party (e.g., travel agent), you agree to hold them harmless and direct any issues to us.
