Day 1: Arrival in Arusha and Transfer to Tarangire National Park

Day 2: Full Day Exploration of Tarangire National Park

After a hearty breakfast, prepare for a full day of exploration in Tarangire National Park. Today, you will delve deeper into the park's diverse ecosystems, searching for hidden wildlife and capturing unforgettable moments. Your guide will share their extensive knowledge of the park's flora and fauna, providing insights into the intricate web of life that thrives within its boundaries.

You may choose to embark on a walking safari, accompanied by an armed ranger, for a unique perspective on the African bush. Day 3: Journey to Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, bid farewell to Tarangire and embark on a scenic drive to Lake Manyara National Park. This relatively small park is known for its diverse habitats, including groundwater forests, acacia woodlands, and the alkaline Lake Manyara itself. The park is a haven for birdlife, with over 400 species recorded, making it a must-visit destination for bird enthusiasts.

Upon arrival at Lake Manyara, you will embark on an afternoon game drive, exploring the park's varied landscapes. Once inside the crater, you will embark on a full-day game drive, exploring the crater's diverse habitats and searching for its iconic wildlife. Day 5: Journey to Central Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to the Central Serengeti National Park, the heart of the Serengeti ecosystem and renowned for its abundant wildlife and vast open plains. The journey will take you through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, offering opportunities to spot wildlife along the way.

Upon arrival in the Central Serengeti, you will check into your lodge and prepare for an afternoon game drive. The Serengeti is home to the Great Migration, one of the most spectacular wildlife events on Earth, where millions of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles migrate across the plains in search of fresh grazing.

Depending on the time of year, you may have the opportunity to witness the migration firsthand, as vast herds of animals move across the landscape. The Serengeti is also home to a large population of predators, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, and hyenas, which prey on the migrating herds.

As the sun sets, you will return to your lodge for dinner and relaxation, enjoying the sounds of the Serengeti night.

Day 6: Full Day Game Drive in Central Serengeti

Today, you will dedicate a full day to exploring the Central Serengeti, immersing yourself in its vast open plains and abundant wildlife. Your guide will tailor the day's activities to your interests, focusing on specific wildlife sightings or areas of the park.

You may choose to embark on a sunrise game drive, witnessing the awakening of the Serengeti as the sun rises over the horizon. Sunrise game drives offer the best opportunities to spot nocturnal animals, such as leopards and serval cats, as they return from their nightly hunts.

Alternatively, you can opt for a longer game drive, venturing into different areas of the park in search of specific wildlife. Day 7: Transfer to North Serengeti

After breakfast, you will embark on a scenic drive to the North Serengeti. This region is the apex of the Great Migration between July and October. This is where you can witness the Mara River crossings. The drive itself is a game drive, and you never know what to expect. You may see giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, elephants, lions, and more.

Day 8 & 9: Full Day Game Drive in North Serengeti

These two days you will be dedicated to seeing the Mara River crossings! Nothing is guaranteed, but your guide will expertly place you in the right place at the right time to hopefully witness this amazing and unforgettable event.

Day 10: Departure

After a final breakfast in the Serengeti, you will bid farewell to the African bush and transfer to a local airstrip for your flight back to Arusha. Upon arrival in Arusha, you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your departure flight home, filled with unforgettable memories of your Northern Tanzania wildlife extravaganza.
