4 Days Mount Meru Climb – Perfect Acclimatization Before Kilimanjaro

Start your trek inside Arusha National Park. Accompanied by an armed ranger, you’ll hike through forested trails with chances to see giraffes, buffaloes, colobus monkeys, and more. Enjoy a picnic lunch before reaching the serene Miriakamba Hut.
🕒 Hiking: 4–5 hours

Trek through a mix of montane forest and heath. The trail gets steeper as you gain altitude, but you'll be rewarded with stunning views of Mount Meru’s crater walls and Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance. Optional short hike to Little Meru (3,820m) for acclimatization.
🕒 Hiking: 3–4 hours

Depart at midnight for the summit attempt via Rhino Point and Cobra Point. After watching sunrise from the top, descend back to Saddle Hut for brunch and then continue to Miriakamba Hut for a well-earned rest.
🕒 Hiking: 10–12 hours

Descend through the lush forest to the gate, where your driver will be waiting. Transfer back to your hotel in Arusha. End of the tour.
