Overview
The 7-day Rongai Route is the only Kilimanjaro trail that approaches the summit from the northern (Kenyan) side, offering a quieter, less-traveled experience. Known for its gentle gradient, dry terrain, and beautiful views, this route is ideal for trekkers looking for solitude and a unique perspective of Africaβs highest peak. The descent via the Marangu Route gives a full-circle mountain experience, ending with a rewarding summit at Uhuru Peak (5,895m).
