Tour Plan
Day 1: Arrival in Moshi – Pre-Trek Briefing
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to your hotel in Moshi. Enjoy a detailed briefing by your guides, gear check, and dinner. Rest up for the adventure ahead.
Day 2: Lemosho Gate (2,100m) to Mti Mkubwa Camp (2,820m)
Begin your climb at Lemosho Gate, trekking through verdant rainforest with sights of exotic birds and monkeys. Arrive at Mti Mkubwa Camp nestled in the forest.
🕒 Hiking: 3–4 hours
Day 3: Mti Mkubwa to Shira 1 Camp (3,500m)
Ascend through the forest to the moorland zone, where panoramic views and giant heathers dominate the landscape—camp on the scenic Shira Plateau.
🕒 Hiking: 5–6 hours
Day 4: Shira 1 to Shira 2 Camp (3,840m)
Enjoy a short but steady hike across the plateau with views of glaciers and distant peaks. This day is perfect for acclimatization.

Day 5: Shira 2 to Barranco Camp (3,960m) via Lava Tower (4,630m)
Climb high to the volcanic Lava Tower for acclimatization, then descend to the spectacular Barranco Camp located beneath the Barranco Wall.

Day 6: Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp (4,035m)
Challenge yourself with a scramble up the Barranco Wall. Continue along scenic ridges and valleys to Karanga Camp for overnight.

Day 7: Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp (4,640m)
Trek through the alpine desert toward your final base at Barafu Camp. Relax and prepare for the midnight summit attempt.

Day 8: Summit Day – Barafu to Uhuru Peak (5,895m) and Down to Mweka Camp (3,100m)
Begin climbing around midnight. Reach Stella Point and push to the summit for an unforgettable sunrise. Celebrate at Uhuru Peak, then descend all the way to Mweka Camp.
🕒 Hiking: 12–15 hours
Day 9: Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate – Return to Moshi
Make the final descent through lush rainforest. Receive your summit certificates at Mweka Gate and transfer back to Moshi for rest and celebration.
