Tour Plan
Day 1: Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park
Depart Arusha in the morning and drive to Lake Manyara National Park, known for its lush forest, tree-climbing lions, and flocks of pink flamingos. Enjoy a game drive and picnic lunch before heading to Karatu for dinner and overnight at a lodge.
Day 2: Journey to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, drive through the Ngorongoro highlands and enter the vast plains of Serengeti National Park. Along the way, enjoy en-route game drives and breathtaking scenery. Arrive at your lodge or tented camp for dinner and an overnight stay in the heart of the Serengeti.
Day 3: Full-Day Serengeti Safari
Spend the entire day exploring the Serengeti, home to the Great Migration (seasonal), large prides of lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, and more. Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives, or opt for a hot air balloon safari at sunrise (optional).
Day 4: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After a morning game drive, travel back through the Serengeti with more chances to spot wildlife en route to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arrive at your lodge on the crater rim and enjoy panoramic views before dinner.
Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater – Return to Arusha
After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. Spot rhinos, lions, and hippos in the crater's unique ecosystem. After lunch, drive back to Arusha, arriving in the evening.
